- I love the rain. I used to go on lots of walks on the farm when it was pouring down.
- I will frequently eat something more along the lines of dinner for breakfast, such as soup, a turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, etc.
- I love air-fresh popcorn. I probably make it about 2-3 times a week.
- I have traveled to Florida, New York, Oregon, Illinois, Arizona, Porta Vollarta, The Bahamas, England, Scotland, Can Cun, Belize, Cozumel, as well as all the boring states around Idaho. I have not however, made it to California.

- All my grandparents were deceased by the time I was 21-years old.
- My mom had me when she was 29-years old. This meant she had five kids ranging in ages from 7 to newborn. Crazy!
- I was on a city swim team when I was 10 years old and competed in the backstroke, butterfly, and freestyle.
- I was once temporarily blind in one eye after a racquetball injury. My pupil was filling up with blood and this blocked my vision. I had to be on bed rest for an entire week!
- I have never broken a bone.
- I had braces when I was 19-21 years old.
- I collect matchbooks. This started because when I was little I read Nancy Drew books. Nancy was so smart, cool, and always prepared. Once when she got trapped in a cave she had a matchbook in her pocket. She would light the matches and watch the flame and knew the direction to go to get out by the flame bending because of the wind outside the cave.
- My first job was a salad bar girl at Sizzler. I think minimum wage was $4.25 when I started.
- When I was 23-25 I had a personal trainer and could leg press a thousand pounds!! This is when I lost a lot of weight. Muscle is where it's at.
- In first grade, I can remember having to stand with my nose in a corner during recess.
- I pooped my pants after taking an anti-gas pill when I was pregnant. We were driving home and I made it to the drive way, but lost it as I was running up the sidewalk.
- I have a mail phobia, it's not that I'm scared of mail, I don't trust the mail. I drove 45 minutes (one way) to hand deliver my Ricks College application instead of mailing it.
- My brother, Tydon, used to call me Shantelly Lace (like the song) because I was a big tattle tale when I was little. And believe me he gave me a lot to tattle about!
- I started working for my dad in the spud harvest when I was in the first grade.
- There is a lame three-way stop by my house and I often run it.
- People tease both my mother-in-law, JoAnn, and me about thinking it would be a great idea to go out and buy a bunch of US postal stamps before the price increased. Younger Jo thought it would save her lots of money to buy all the stamps to send out her wedding announcements before the price increased. When grandma Dorma was telling me this story, I was nodding my head in complete agreement. I thought it was a great idea to save money. Everyone cracked up laughing and said I was just like, Jo.
- The first time I saw Girls Just Wanna Have Fun was at my 12-year-old birthday party. I don't need to tell you, it was a BIG hit! In fact, I still like the movie. It makes it on my classic list.
